Where to Begin…ASL?

Single for 5 years and over 100 first dates? You are likely thinking that I must have incredibly high standards but I beg to differ. If you ask me what I am looking for I will tell you that I want him to be over 6 feet and have a stable career. That is about it. Believe it or not, those two things are not that easy to come by in one man (hate dating in Toronto). But even still, I have gone out with men who are still “finding themselves” and are shorter than me, so these are not hard and fast dealbreakers.

Over the last 5 years, I have been on every app out there and ultimately they are all exactly the same, and if you are on more than one at a time, you will see the same people on them all. I advise just pick one and stick with it otherwise you will find yourself absolutely drained and sick of it all within days. I go through phases where I am fine with being single and not dating so I delete the apps, and then I get bored one night and so start swiping. After a few weeks of this, I undoubtedly get sick of the app and the dates I have been on (or the pen pals I have developed…) that I delete again. Welcome to dating in 2020.
